We now have a solution for using commercial sounders with Garmin plotters. We can interface Garmin plotters with any sounder that has a TLL output. We can also send HEAVE and PITCH/ROLL data to applicable sounders from the Garmin network.

The applies to any sounder with NMEA0183 input/output like the FCV-1150, FCV1200; Koden CVS-128, CVS-1410, CVS-702x; JRC JFC-800, JFC-180. This can also be used on commercial sonar units from the above mentioned manufacturers.

Simply press the 'event' button on the sounder/sonar, the event mark is automatically transferred and stored in the Garmin plotter.
