Koden Electronics was founded in 1947, two years after World War II, by Yoji Ito, Doctor of Engineering, whose position was pivotal at the Naval Technical Research Department as a captain of the former Japanese Imperial Navy, with his hope to make a peaceful contribution in superb technologies cultivated in his naval days to the world.
KODEN's first product in 1947 was the KS-221 Radio Direection Finder. Since then Koden have been ahead of the curve, designing commercial products under their own name, as well as for other large companies. Kodens current product line up includes RADAR, SONAR, SOUNDER, SATELLITE COMPASS, as well as a whole range of IMO products for large ships.

The CVS-702 series offer quad frequency output, meaning 4 different frequencies can be displayed simultaneously. They also offer pitch/roll/heave compensation and DEPTH/HARDNESS output to work with both OLEX or MAXSEA TZv4.
